Gingham is something I’ve slowly become addicted to over the years. Whether it’s a cozy button up or a cute dress, maybe a scarf—you can find it on just about anything. That said, finding this button up was kind of like hitting the jack pot. It’s a flannel type of material, too, which makes it even better.
The bad news is that I got this shirt last year from Gap Factory and I can’t find it online anymore. I know, super sad. But lucky for all of us, J. Crew always has an abundance of cozy flannels on hand. And because I think you should have multiple gingham looks, I linked a few other shirts below that I’m also swooning over. The off the shoulder one is a favorite of mine. Or maybe the tie up one that’s more of a buffalo check—idk, the point is that they’re all great.
The picture series above is a fun little look at what happens when you discover you have a chest pocket on your shirt that you’ve had for over a year (face palm). In my defense, it’s pretty camouflaged.
Below are a few options and details from the rest of the outfit.
I jumped on the metallic shoe trend a while ago, and I have to say, I’m so glad I did. I have a gold pair and two silver pairs (one a slide, one a loafer). If you haven’t given in to buying some yet, I suggest going for it!
The jeans I’m wearing, I have raved about over and over again it seems like. They’re from Gap and the style is called the “curvy true skinny”. They’re mid-rise, which I’m a big fan on. I actually kind of wish they were high rise because I’m really into that look these days.
