I know everyone and their dog will have a wellness series starting today, but this is a slightly different kind of wellness situation. Of course, it’s about health, but it’s more encompassing than that. It’s not just about working out or losing weight—it’s about taking the time to do something for yourself every month. It can be anything from reading to meditating to trying the latest hair mask. The wellness category is endless!
That said, I have some ideas for the next few months, but I want you guys to let me know what you’re curious about in the wellness space! I’m so excited to focus on this category and make it a priority to try all the wellness things I gawk at all year, but never take the time to try.
Speaking of making time, that’s what this wellness challenge is really all about. First, creating a monthly series and sharing it on my blog with all of you holds me accountable. Second, it forces me to make the time for myself. I’m seriously the worst at this you guys. I just feel like I’m always in a rush. Even when it comes to getting ready for bed at night. Forget a nighttime routine, all I want to do is just crash in my bed.
Well, 2018 marks a new start! I can’t wait to go on this journey and start taking better care of myself. Hopefully putting this effort into myself will yield some positive side effects, but I’m really doing this in hopes of forming new habits. The financial planner Trevor and I met with (totally different topic, but it relates) said you form your habits by the time your 30. Here’s to forming better habits before then! That’s not to say if you’re above 30 you shouldn’t give it a go. 😉
